LONDON, September 21, 2016 - Domino’s recently refreshed ‘Scintillating Diamond’ collection was very well received at International Jewellery London earlier this month.
The stunning earring and neckwear range features diamonds suspended on fine threads to create additional movement and sparkle.
There are 46 individual designs, 37 of which are brand new for Autumn 2016. Pieces can be purchased as a suite, providing great add-on sales, or can be mixed and matched across the collection to suit individual style and taste. Available in 18ct white, yellow or rose gold, this striking range features HSi certificated diamonds.
So what are the reasons for the pull that this collection clearly has on the nation’s retailers?
“Customer feedback on Scintillating Diamonds has been absolutely fantastic,” says sales and marketing director, Andrew Sollitt.
“Our stockists seem to love this new collection and I think the main reason is that it is fresh and different, and really does offer something for everyone.”
The collection’s hero piece is a stunning 3.25 carat circular pendant on a diamond detailed chain.
Like all designs in this collection, the inspiration for this piece was conceived in-house by the company’s award-winning design team.
Inspired by mermaids, a theme that is appearing everywhere from interior design to nail art, the necklace is very trend led.
The design team also worked hard to ensure that the fundamental pieces within the range cover all bases, making sure that all popular forms and shapes are featured.
Colour is another new addition with customers being offered the choice of blue, yellow and pink sapphires as well as pink and yellow diamonds as the central stone in a design.
This is something that has also proved popular with Domino’s stockists and is in line with growing consumer demand for a touch of colour.
Key motifs in the collection include the very on-trend infinity symbol which is always a very romantic form for jewellery. Another source of inspiration for the designers was clouds which provide the basis for the soft, organic shapes seen in two of the new suites.
The collection is certainly competitively priced and meets some important price points with 85% of pieces retailing at under £2,500; trade prices start at around £440 and rise to £4,000.
“This collection has pieces at prices which make them absolutely perfect Christmas gifts and this fact coupled with the unique added sparkle that Scintillating Diamonds offers, really does make the range a great choice for the festive season,” says Andrew Sollitt.
