Holition brings 3D technology to De Beers Jewellers in Japan

July 18, 2010 - To celebrate 120 years of exquisite craftsmanship in diamonds, De Beers has launched an exhibition in the world-famous department store, Isetan, in Tokyo.

Holition, experts in advanced 3D technology applications for retail, and Pointy Stick, a newly-formed 3D production company, created a bespoke stereoscopic 3D film that captures the wonder and beauty of De Beers jewellery.

The 3D film is shown on glasses-free Alioscopy screens in the store windows of Isetan.

It is shown as part of the Art of Craftsmanship exhibition and runs from 1st - 21st July 2010 in all the windows giving consumers an insider view of De Beers Diamond Jewellery through photography and multimedia displays.
