VICENZA, Italy, September 12, 2010 - Paris-based jewellery designer Isabelle Langlois, renowned for her use of colourful stones, reported strong interest from European buyers at the "Choice" edition of the Vicenza fair.

Langlois, exhibiting in the Glam Room of the Vicenza Fair for the first time this year, opened a standalone shop at 12, Rue de la Paix in Paris in June."My work is all conditioned by colours," Langlois told Jewellery Outlook.

"I love the colours of life. I love the colours of flowers. It brings a strong emotion."

Langlois uses precious metals in combination with coloured stones, such as sapphires, in her pieces which retail at between 500 and 30,000 euros.

Asked what type of response she has had at the Glam Room, Langlois said, "I have seen a lot of buyers from England, Austria and Denmark -- a few French also."

The Vicenza fair's "Choice" edition runs from September 10 to 14.
