MILAN, March 8, 2009 – Patrizia Siumara Via Montenapoleone brings together two women who are great friends and share a vision for their hand-made diamond jewellery designs – inspired to a large extent by their common love of the Sea.
The jewellery lines of Patrizia Siumara Via Montenapoleone were launched in January 2007 after Patrizia Terracina from Italy joined forces with Siumara Meliti from Brazil.
Their similar view of the world, their very different but highly compatible personalities, and the fact that both are mothers and wish to find the right balance between work life and family, have enabled them to achieve great things together in their determined young career as fine-jewellery designers.
The main joint theme in their design is the Ocean, which is reflected in their lines “Coquille” (Sea Shells) and “Estrela do Mar” (Star Fish). | |
“We are both in love with the sea,” Siumara told Jewellery Outlook in an interview at About J, the upmarket Italian jewellery trade fair. "We want to show nature as a jewel.” |  |
In 2009 About J, which took place from 22-24 February, focused on new design talent like Patrizia Siumara Via Montenapoleone, as well as the more established leading international brands ranging from Roberto Coin to Rodney Rayner. |
 | The most exquisite piece among the lines of Patrizia Siumara Via Montenapoleone that is linked to the Ocean, is arguably a highly intricate pink gold and diamond necklace in the form of Coral. It has 500 diamonds weighing in total 9 carats. Patrizia and Siumara also love elegance and parties, and this is reflected in lines such as “Maxine”, “Fuochi d’Artificio” (Fireworks) and “Diva”. |  |
