Syreeta Tranfield brings marketing vision to IJL

Jewellery London this year, says she wants to build relationships between exhibitors and buyers at IJL and drive the exhibition more upmarket.

“I am determined to give the paying exhibitor the best opportunities available. As a marketer, I understand why companies participate in exhibitions and I’m committed to making their investment worthwhile.”

Syreeta, who has worked for 12 years for Reed Exhibitions on some of the company’s flagship events and has extensive marketing experience, is introducing a “hosted buyers programme” for the first time at IJL in 2009, with a view to strengthening relationships between exhibitor and buyer.

She is working hard to increase international participation in the show and to provide a second to none luxury environment at IJL to help exhibitors enhance their brands. Earlier this year, Syreeta was promoted from IJL’s Marketing Manager to Exhibition Manager.

Syreeta, who has previously worked on interior design exhibition, 100% Design, and the National Incentive Show, joined the IJL team in 2005.

During this time, Syreeta has played a crucial role in the repositioning and development of IJL.

This has included introducing a number of acclaimed innovations and features, including a strengthened seminar programme with exciting new speakers offering top level discussion and education.

She is also determined to showcase emerging design talent at IJL to help drive the jewellery industry forward.
