Alexis Dove jewellery stocked in John Lewis stores
July 2013 – Jewellery by British designer-maker Alexis Dove will be stocked at selected John Lewis department stores from the end of July, in addition to over 60 independent jewellery stores throughout the UK.
John Lewis will be showcasing Alexis Dove jewellery, including an exclusive bunny pendant for the stores, in John Lewis department stores in Manchester’s Trafford Centre, Liverpool, Nottingham, Southampton and John Lewis online from the end of this month.
Alexis Dove will be launching new collections at the IJL Jewellery Show in London this September, including her new Aphrodite line, which is inspired by Ancient Greece.
“This new collection, which I am still developing and will be fully unveiled in September, includes gorgeous feminine pieces of cascading silver olive leaves and twinkling faceted beads,” Alexis said.
The Aphrodite collection ties into Alexis Dove’s recent Helios collection, which is also Ancient Greek-inspired, with hammered disc motifs with granulation details.
It complements her summer Beachcomber collection that features tiny mermaid treasures of mini shells, seahorses and shimmering golden fish.
Alexis has extended her best-selling Curio range to include a new Vintage Bunny pendant, which has been inspired by 1930s collectibles.
“This makes a really sweet addition to this range of cabinets of curiosities, which is all inspired by my grandmother’s trinkets and keepsakes,” she said.
“Alexis Dove’s jewellery collections are quintessentially English, inspired by the nature of the South Downs on her Sussex doorstep and by her love of vintage and antique jewellery.
