London-based designer/maker Ana Verdun has been selected to exhibit at the Goldsmiths North fair for the first time this year.
GOLDSMITHS NORTH (July 8-10, 2022) is an international summer selling fair bringing the finest contemporary silverware and jewellery from the UK and Europe to the north of England, hosted in Cutlers’ Hall in Sheffield.
Ana said: “I’m very excited to have the chance to exhibit at Goldsmiths North after the show was cancelled in 2020 and 2021. We have many customers in the north of England, and this is a great opportunity to see them and to meet lots of new people too!”
Ana will be displaying her fine jewellery at the event, with a special focus on pieces made from 18ct yellow gold, oxidised silver and gemstones.
Ana’s work reflects the inspirational processes drawn from the natural world and ancient symbolism and arts. Known for her tasteful handmade collections using traditional techniques, she combines mixed metals and different finishes to introduce colour contrasts, which has become one of her main signatures. She includes very tactile surfaces, incorporating hand-beaten and organic textures to re-create a “perfect imperfect” state.
