Andre Michael has seen buoyant orders for its Alphabet Diamond Pendants collection during lockdown due to brisk demand for the pendants on retail e-commerce sites.
“The Alphabet Diamond Pendants reflect a strong trend in the market for more meaningful gifts. Retailers have seen consistent online buying, and they have put in a steady stream of orders to Andre Michael during the three lockdowns,” the Hatton Garden-based diamond manufacturer said.
“We have maintained a good stock of all the available letters in attractive designs created in-house at highly competitive prices, and can offer fast delivery to retailers.”
A much wider choice of first names in the UK has led to increased demand for lettering across the alphabet, Andre Michael said.
A recent report from the Natural Diamond Council (NDC) highlighted a trend for meaningful, personalised jewellery featuring lettering.
The pendants are in 9- and 18-carat gold and platinum. Nine-carat pendants start at £79 each.
