Andrew Geoghegan designs at IJL inspired by Golden Age of Portuguese Exploration
LONDON, August 30, 2017 – The latest designs of Andrew Geoghegan, who will be exhibiting at International Jewellery London (IJL), are inspired by the Golden Age of Portuguese Exploration.
Rafael, named after the sister ship of the Gabriel, both vessels famed for their journey to India captained by the Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama. Inspired by the power of the oceans and the bold explorers who pioneered their waves, this ring from Andrew Geoghegan was designed on the wild coast of Portugal and tells a tale of strength and beauty, of majesty and grace. The collections ‘Gabriel’, ‘Empress’ and ‘Serpente do Mar’ will be making their debut.
Reworkings of existing lines, including petit versions of signature engagement rings, will also be launching for this British-made and award winning brand.
