New York – Bonhams New York Jewels sale on May 23 saw impressive results for several important collections presented in the sale. A highlight of the sale was the ‘Collection of an International Lady’, which presented 64 exceptional pieces and was 99% sold. This was led by a Fancy Pink 6.22 carat diamond ring which achieved US$1.2 million. Another significant lot in the collection, a Fancy Yellow 10.61 carat diamond ring, sold for four times its estimate at US$242,000.

The 259-lot sale made a total of US$4.9 million with 86% sold by lot and 97% sold by value.
