Award-winning jewellery designer Fei Liu sold a one-of-a-kind brooch at the Bonhams Hong Kong jewellery sale last month for a five-figure sum. Entitled “Poppies in Love”, the brooch reimagines the poppy flower in an abstract wearable form.
The brooch features a double-ended poppy set with a medley of vibrant gemstones, including rubies, moonstones, diamonds and tsavorite garnets set in 18-ct dual tones of black and white gold.
