Dreweatts has been appointed to sell an array of jewels from the private collection of Renée Louise Marie de Rothschild (1927-2015), the daughter of Anthony Gustav de Rothschild (1887-1961), of the illustrious Rothschild banking dynasty, and Yvonne Lydia Louise de Rothschild (née Cahen d’Anvers, 1899-1977).
The collection will be offered at Dreweatts auctioneers in a sale of Fine Jewellery, Silver, Watches and Luxury Accessories on November 23rd, 2022.

A keen equestrian, Renée Louise Marie de Rothschild married former British Olympics show-jumping champion Peter Robeson OBE (1929-2018), and together they became racehorse trainers from their stud in Buckinghamshire, England.
A French 1930s platinum, sapphire and diamond bracelet is a highlight of the collection. It features sleek octagonal panels set with calibré cut sapphires and transitional cut diamond and baguette cut diamond set links, with French Platinum Poinçons. It carries an estimate of £15,000-£20,000.
