Bonhams Cornette de Saint Cyr Paris will hold Paris Jewels on October 19 featuring over 200 lots from leading fine jewellery houses including CartierChaumetDavid WebbMauboussinTiffany & Co. and Van Cleef & Arpels. The collection heading to auction includes a stylish array of signed jewels from the 1960s and 1970s.

Marine Girardet, Bonhams Jewellery Specialist, France, said: “Paris Jewels has a significant collection of statement 1960s and 1970s signed pieces from names including Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels, who produced extraordinary designs, stones, and craftsmanship all of which remain wearable and highly sought-after pieces of jewelry today. A wide selection of playful animal jewels to exquisite diamonds are also represented in the forthcoming auction.”

Notable statement pieces include a spectacular pair of Van Cleef & Arpels baroque cultured pearl and diamond earclips, circa 1960. Each surmount is designed as a stylised leaf pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, suspending a removable drop composed of a baroque pearl and brilliant-cut diamonds. Offered with an estimate of €12,000-18,000.
