Fellows has announced the outstanding results of its recent Antique & Period Jewellery auction, which achieved a rare “white glove” result, with every lot successfully sold.
The auction had a hammer total of nearly three times the pre-sale estimate.
A “white glove” sale is a significant achievement in the auction world, as it means that 100% of the lots offered found buyers.
This is an extremely rare occurrence and reflects the strength of the jewellery presented, as well as continued demand from collectors and enthusiasts for exceptional antique and period pieces.
The live sale was expertly conducted by Stephen Whittaker, with spirited bidding producing a number of exceptional results well above their pre-sale estimates.
