GENEVA – Sotheby’s will present at auction in May 2024 an extraordinary jewellery collection comprising over 250 pieces of the highest quality, style, and flair, meticulously assembled by a passionate European female collector over five decades.

“Iconic Jewels: Her Sense Of Style”, is one of the most important private collections of signed jewellery ever to come to auction.

This exceptional single-owner collection – carrying an estimate of 4.7M – 7.3M CHF ($5.4M – $8.3M) – will be offered across two sales this May with:

  • 46 of the most outstanding jewels featured in the Magnificent Jewels sale on 14 May during Sotheby’s Luxury Sales in Geneva.
  • and over 200 pieces to be sold in a dedicated “Iconic Jewels: Her Sense of Style” online sale from 2 May with bidding closing on 16 May.

The spectacular selection is a homage to twentieth century jewellery design and an encyclopedic showcase of its most iconic pieces and most influential trends as exemplified by creations from the most prestigious jewellery houses including Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Bulgari, Boucheron, Chaumet, David Webb, Mauboussin, Marina B, Sterlé and Mellerio dits Meller.
