The UK’s National Association of Jewellers (NAJ) announced four new sponsors for the NAJ Awards. Jewellery brand Ti Sento – Milano, diamond specialists, Windiam, law firm RWK Goodman, and jewellery training specialists At The Bench have joined the NAJ Awards celebrations as category sponsors.
Ti Sento – Milano is the category sponsor for Jewellery Retailer of the Year, RWK Goodman is supporting Designer of the Year, Windiam will be sponsoring Workshop Professional of the Year, and At The Bench will be championing Rising Star of the Year.
Judith Lockwood, founder and director of Mesmeric Distribution Ltd (UK Distributor of Ti Sento), said, “As a business, we always try to work and support the different parts of our industry. We are absolutely delighted to be involved with the NAJ Awards and sponsoring the ‘Jewellery Retailer of the Year’ at this year’s NAJ Summit.
“Our business is all about working with retail jewellers every day, and for any retail jewellery business to be nominated and then acknowledged as a finalist is true recognition of the work they do as a team every day of the year. We wish all nominees the very best of luck.”
Stephen Welfare, partner of RWK Goodman solicitors, said, “RWK Goodman is proud to support the Designer of the Year category. We are excited to see which designers make the shortlist as they continue to push the boundaries of jewellery design. We continue to promote and protect the intellectual property of NAJ members through the COPYWATCH scheme.”
Sophie Bartle, Windiam’s Relation Manager, said, “Workshop professionals are the backbone of the UK jewellery industry. All of us at Windiam are delighted to be able to champion their work, commitment and professionalism.”
Andrew Berry, founder of At The Bench, said, “In the decade since starting At The Bench, we have seen so many of our members develop their skills from complete beginners to becoming industry professionals in their own right. We are particularly excited to be sponsoring the ‘Rising Star’ category at this year’s NAJ awards as we are inspired every day by members of our At The Bench community as they develop and flourish.”
Principal Officer of the NAJ, Ben Massey, said, “It is exciting to see more support for the NAJ Awards as we celebrate the extraordinary talent within the jewellery industry. We are thrilled to be supported by Ti Sento – Milano, RWK Goodman, Windiam and At The Bench, alongside TH March and headline sponsor, Curteis.”
