The UK’s National Association of Jewellers (NAJ) has announced the launch of the 2023 NAJ Chair’s Award, recognising the outstanding contribution of an individual or business within the jewellery industry.
The 2023 NAJ Chair’s Award, sponsored by Presman Mastermelt, will again be presented at the Benevolent Society Christmas Ball, which will be held at the Grand Hotel Birmingham on Thursday, 7th December, 2023.
Last year’s recipient of the Chair’s Award was the past president of the NAJ, David Doyle, for his career-long charity work and service. The Award will again acknowledge the outstanding contribution of a person or business in recognition of ongoing commitment and dedicated service to the jewellery trade.
Announcing the launch of the Award, NAJ Chair Heather Callaway said,
“The NAJ Chair’s Award holds a special place in my heart. As the trade association representing the whole jewellery industry, we need to recognise and celebrate the outstanding contributions of individuals and businesses who have demonstrated exceptional commitment and dedicated service to advancing the trade.”
Gary Williams, General Manager of Presman Mastermelt, said,
“As long-time supporters of the Jewellery trade, Presman Mastermelt is delighted to once again sponsor the very special NAJ Chair’s Award and we look forward to celebrating with the winner and all the other guests, at this year’s Benevolent Society Christmas Ball.”

Please provide a recommendation of 300 words or less, including names and details, explaining why the person or business should be considered for the Award.
