Bailey of Sheffield shortlisted as Finalist in UK Jewellery Awards
SHEFFIELD, England, February 24, 2018 – Jewellery manufacturer Bailey of Sheffield announced that they have been shortlisted as a finalist in the Brand to Watch category at the Retail Jeweller UK Jewellery Awards 2018.
The award will be presented to the brand that has demonstrated the most significant growth since its launch.
Bailey of Sheffield design, manufacture and hand-build enduring designer jewellery from the highest quality marine grade 316L stainless steel in their workshop at Portland Works in Sheffield.
Their initial CABLE™ modular bracelet and beads collection was launched on Kickstarter at IJL in 2016 and proved extremely popular, achieving over 163% of their funding goal.
Since then the company has continued to grow and develop the range by introducing beautiful new products, expanding colour options (utilising a Physical Vapor Deposition process primarily used in aerospace and Formula 1) and even releasing innovative stainless steel 3D-printed beads.
At the core of Bailey of Sheffield’s philosophy is the ability of the wearer to curate their own style, allowing full customisation of the bracelets to mix-and-match colour components, add-and-remove beads, and even giving the opportunity to convert a bead into a stunning pendant on a stainless steel necklace chain.
The announcement as a finalist in the prestigious Retail Jeweller UK Jewellery Awards follows industry recognition in 2017 when Bailey of Sheffield achieved Runner-Up in the Best Collection category at The Company of Master Jewellers’ (CMJ) Trade Event in Birmingham.
Speaking of this latest nomination, company founder Scott Bailey said, “We are absolutely ecstatic to be recognised by the biggest jewellery awards in the UK.
“Just to be shortlisted as a finalist is amazing. It’s great to see all the hard work we have put into launching and subsequently growing the brand to where it is today, being recognised by the industry.”
The Retail Jeweller UK Jewellery Awards are to be held at the Artillery Garden in London on Wednesday 4th July 2018.
