BERING Buyers Power List Finalists Revealed
LONDON, June 3, 2014 – The finalists in the inaugural BERING Buyers Power List competition have been announced, across all five categories.
With the winners set to be revealed at a glamorous champagne reception sponsored by BERING at Jewellery & Watch London on June 18, the finalists of 25 outstanding companies and individuals, demonstrates just what a closely fought competition this is.
The BERING Buyers Power List aims to recognise, celebrate and reward the individuals and companies that suppliers and peers in the jewellery and watch industry have nominated and voted for as making an outstanding difference and being highly influential in the jewellery and watch market.
The initial round of voting was open to anyone and people could nominate individuals and companies across five categories including Independent Retailer, Multiple Retailer, Individual Buyer, Department Store and Museum or Gallery.
Those individuals and companies with the most votes were compiled into a shortlist and everyone on this shortlist was then asked to peer vote for each other which resulted in the final list of 25, with five finalists in each category.
The full list of finalists is revealed below and all of the finalists and shortlisted companies will be invited to the BERING Buyers Power List event on June 18, when one winner in each category will be revealed.
Julie Driscoll portfolio director for Jewellery & Watch London at i2i Events Group said: “There are some really high-profile individuals and companies that have made the final BERING Buyers Power List which really is testament to the quality of the nominations we received, demonstrating just how important this competition is for the industry.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who took the time to nominate and also to congratulate all of our shortlisted entrants and finalists. I look forward to revealing the winners on the night together with our valued sponsor BERING.”
