Brands to launch new collections at IJL

LONDON, July 2013 – The countdown is on with major jewellery brands preparing to launch exciting new collections at International Jewellery London 2013, the leading jewellery buying event in the UK.
IJL 2013 will run from 1 – 4 September at Earls Court, London.  IJL will be leaving Earls Court with a real bang this year, before the show’s move to an exciting new home for 2014.

The 2013 event promises stunning catwalk shows, unique advice from industry experts, the best new design talent and striking jewellery.
Event Director Sam Willoughby said: “We’re incredibly proud of IJL as the show is such a special part of the jewellery industry and a major date in the calendar.
“So many fantastic designers and brands will be unveiling their latest collections only at IJL, ahead of the Autumn/Winter season and the following year, and there are some really outstanding plans for the event’s last year at Earls Court.”
Many new exhibitors will be making their UK or international debut this year.
Successful international brands will be introduced to the UK market by major distributors, alongside the best in British design and manufacturing.
Hundreds of VIP senior retailers are already signed up to attend as part of the show’s prestigious Diamond Club.
Designer Brands
The Designer Brands lineup at the show is set to be stronger than ever, with names such as Dinny Hall, Missoma, Sarah Jordan and Sarah Ho being joined by international designers Iluminada Mendes and Holstad & Co.
They will join a host of award winning and upcoming designers in the main Design Gallery.
The Boulevard
The Boulevard is also set to shine as major brands go all out to impress.
Highlights include: the exceptional newcomers to IJL, Christopher Designs, one of the world’s premier jewellery brands, acclaimed for its award winning designs and patented diamond cut and technologies, and Ti Sento who are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year with ten fabulous rings in a special chocolate presentation box and presenting their new “Dolce Vite” campaign, “celebrating life” with Ti Sento.
They will be sharing a stand with the innovative new UK brand, Mi Moneda: “Ti Sento is thrilled to be returning to IJL once again. Mi Moneda, as a relatively new, but fast-growing brand to the UK, recognises the strength and timing of the show. The IBB team are looking forward to seeing old friends and new customers at this important trade jewellery show,” said Judith Lockwood, UK Country Manager IBB Amsterdam.
Other inspirational companies include Djula, one of the most well-known and successful French jewellery brands in Europe, with its rich variety of gold, precious and semi-precious collections designed and created by Parisian designer, Alexandra Corrot.
Georgini is another sophisticated newcomer to IJL. Josh Vogel, sales distributor, said: “As one of the top three jewellery brands in Australia, Georgini is an exciting silver jewellery brand that has recently launched in the UK.
“We are now taking on the international jewellery industry and this is why we are at IJL this year, where we will be featuring our new Soleil range”.

Antwerp Diamonds Ltd are hoping to continue their success on IJL’s ‘Boulevard’ by introducing new designs to their popular dress ring collection, whilst also launching new additions to ‘The Phoenix Cut™ Range’.Also unveiling at this year’s IJL is ‘The Mirage Collection’, a stunning collection of diamond rings, earrings & pendants.

“We are looking forward to a brilliant show! IJL has always been the best platform in which to launch new designs, as we always receive such a fantastic response!” said Dax Humberstone, Director.Stubbs & Co are planning to release pendants to complement their Brook and Sloane bridal rings at the show.

CW Sellors Fine Jewellery will be unveiling the new ‘Cameo Italiano’ collection at IJL. They are the exclusive UK partner for this prestigious Italian brand.

They will also be showing new CW Sellors British gemstone collections, including the eye catching Whitby Jet ‘Spider’ range.New Collections
Celebrity and fashion collaborations are promised at the show this year, with new collections showcased and plenty of on-stand inspiration and entertainment.

New collection highlights include:
Sarah Ho of SHO Fine Jewellery will be unveiling her Origami Noir Suite at IJL. Her delicately hand crafted Paradis earrings, featuring platinum with 18ct rose gold accents, brilliant cut diamonds and rare conch pearls, are set to be a show favourite.
The discerning diamond house of Tresor Paris will be launching an amazing new diamond collection at this year’s IJL, setting a new standard for Conflict Free Diamonds.

These “literally” new innovative and cutting-edge creations, based on the expertise and prestigious heritage of the Tresor Paris family, will expand on the spectacular impact that the crystal collections have already made.Rodgers & Rodgers Jewellery will be launching a new range at IJL including luxurious gold and diamond pieces, as well as a new range of directional rose cut stones.

They will also have updates to their statement stack rings and classic tear drop earrings, showing in new vibrant stones.
Fine jewellery designer Fei Liu will be showing his new Butterfly collection, along with brand new additions to his popular Cascade collection and stunning pieces in his Floret collection, which will be unveiled for the first time.
Fei Liu said, “Additionally, one or two of the key things we have planned for IJL are some superb new projects which we have been instructed to keep under wraps by our collaborating partners until further down the line!”
Watch Trail
Sponsored by Bering Time, the Watch Trail at IJL will feature key brands, innovative technology and the latest styles.
International manufacturers and distributors include BQ Watches, STORM, Bering Time, DMJ and Unique.
New to the show this year is the new stylish watch brand, Larsen Watches. Co-founder/owner Dan Corfitzen said, “We are presenting a unique selection of high quality Danish designed watches, each one individually inspired by Scandinavian minimalism and functionality”.
International Pavilions
Hong Kong’s jewellery industry is known for its flexibility, producing a wide range of medium to high end fine jewellery. This year the best in Hong Kong design will come to London with their Pavilion at IJL.
In addition, new to IJL, will be the Danish Pavilion which will be unveiling a number of fantastic Danish brands: 1People, ByBiehl and EarStyles.
Award Winning Design
There will be plenty of show features to appeal to visitors and enhance their experience. One of the UK’s key luxury watch and jewellery writers has selected her Editor’s Choice pick of the show, and a panel of leading British consumer editors has selected the best new design talent from around the UK in Bright Young Gems – with a focus on four key jewellery destinations.
On the KickStart stand, visitors can meet designers who have been selected by IJL and the BJA, as ones to watch.
Another new feature is the ‘Best of US Design’, coming to IJL for the first time in partnership with their sister show in Las Vegas, JCK, which will be showcasing American talent and cutting-edge collections of silver and fine jewellery.
Trends
With a new trend partner, Adorn Insight, there will be a real focus on upcoming trends, and the refreshed IJL Runway catwalk will showcase some of the most stunning new on-trend pieces.

Seminars
IJL’s popular seminar programme is set to impress this year. Keynote seminars include:
•    Luxury jewellery brand, Astley Clarke’s seminar on ‘Establishing your Business Identity’ – examining what goes into creating a luxury brand and making it stand out within the jewellery market
•    Breaking into the US’ – a unique session chaired by Gail Sackloff, OBE, one of the UK’s leading export luxury retail consultants. Her panellists include Vicki Sarge, co-founder of Erickson Beamon and now creative director of VIVKISARGE, and Jaqui Lividini, founder of Lividini, the US brand development agency, who is flying in from New York specially for the event.
•    A consumer panel on “What Women Want” – sponsored by the IBB group of companies, featuring Missoma and chaired by Judy Deuchar, founder of brand strategy consultancy The Clifton Studio. The panellists will be drawn from different key age groups and will share their jewellery buying patterns.
•    Rapaport’s ‘Diamond Report’ – which is always standing room only.
