Tudor is a brand with a magnificent heritage and incredible history, and the team at Burrells did justice to its arrival with a special launch party to entertain 100 VIP customers.
Tudor watches was founded in 1946 by Hans Wilsdorf, the creator of Rolex. He had a vision of a watch brand with the build quality of Rolex but at a more accessible price point. Tudor watches today have a pared-down elegance and a style that is all their own.

Guests at the evening were treated to live music from soul singer Eboni G and had the opportunity to compete for the fastest lap time on a Twin Manx arcade motorbike machine (the real deal, a Ducati Diavel motorcycle, remained firmly on its stand!) There was also a display of Tudor historical timepieces, courtesy of the Tudor Museum.

The event was attended by Tudor UK Managing director Sven Olsen and Richard De Leyser, Head of Rolex. Ed Ferris (managing director of SWAG Jeweller, which recently took over Burrells) said, “We’re delighted to showcase these incredible watches in our shop. Tudor is an amazing brand and the staff and I can’t wait to have the opportunity of introducing it to our customers.”
