Clogau opens second boutique in China
December 21, 2013 – 2013 is a year of international expansion for Welsh gold jewellery brand Clogau as it opens the doors to its second luxury boutique in China this December.
The new store is in the prestigious Mix City Mall in Shenzhen and has opened in partnership with Ms Joyce Zheng of DSMD Ltd.
Mix City or Mix C is Shenzhen’s largest and most luxurious shopping mall with an impressive array of high-end brands like Dior, Prada, Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Gucci, Bottega etc., which operate their flagships within the massive Mix C complex.
Clogau wants to maximize on current market trends. In Asia the main focus will be on 18ct gold and the current campaign was shaped accordingly to highlight Clogau’s 18ct gold and diamond jewellery collections.
However the focal theme in the new store is bridal in order to emphasize Clogau’s royal associations.
Clogau opened their first boutique in May this year within Beijing Capital Airport, the largest airport in the world.
This was the brand’s first international domestic store in China as well as expanding distribution in Abu Dhabi and extending listings with its established shipping retail partner Princess Cruises.
