Auratam gold and diamond jewels – bold and precise
VICENZA, Italy, January 16, 2012 – “Auratam” jewellery by Bapalal Keshavlal, exhibiting for the first time at the Vicenza fair, suits a woman who appreciates bold, precise design in gold and diamonds.
The jewels — statement pieces combining laser-treated 18-carat gold with white diamonds in precise shapes — would appeal to fashion-oriented women aged between 25-45 years, Romy Mehta, President of Bapalal Keshavlal, told Jewellery Outlook at the company’s stand in the prestigious B1 hall at VICENZAORO Winter.
“Jewellery made by hand would not achieve this quality or precision,” Mehta said.
“This jewellery is for a woman who enjoys fine quality.”
The name of the collection, “Auratam”, is derived from “aurum”, Latin for “gold”, and “aurat”, Urdu for “woman”.
The “Auratam” collection, manufactured in Mumbai, sells in markets around the world, including the United States, the Caribbean, the Far East, India and Brazil, Mehta said.
Wholesale prices range from $500 to $15,000 for the necklace.
The VICENZAORO Winter trade fair runs from January 14-19, 2012.
