Babette Wasserman launches “Maman Bebe” collection
BIRMINGHAM, England, February 6, 2011 – Babette Wasserman has launched a new collection, “Maman Bebe” in sterling silver, celebrating the bond between mother and child.
Speaking to Jewellery Outlook at The Jewellery Show where she was exhibiting, Babette said, “The Maman Bebe collection is a brand new concept. You get a box with two compartments in it – a baby pouch and a large pouch.
“Everything in this collection is sold in two pieces. We have, for example, the Swallow Collection here – the mum’s necklace is a circle with a cut-out swallow shape, and the baby’s piece is a swallow shape that fits into the centre of the mother’s necklace.”
Babette said, “The baby design is always an intrinsic part of the maman design.”
