Roberto Demeglio showcases Daisy rings at Vicenza fair

VICENZA, Italy, January 15, 2012 – Italian brand Roberto Demeglio showcased its “margherita in love” (daisy in love) collection, rings bearing simple expressions of love, at the VICENZAORO Winter fair.
The playful rings bear the inscriptions for the Italian market “Amore” or “Ti amo”, and, for the international market, “I love you”. The daisy is fun too — touch it, and the flower rotates on the body of the ring.
“It is a simple message. It speaks of love. It is simple and pure,” Roberto Demeglio told Jewellery Outlook at his high-profile stand (G 1834) at the Vicenza fair.

The ring is a versatile and emotional gift. The shape is the same, but the colours and personalities of each ring in the collection are different.
The “margherita in love” collection was launched in September 2011 and orders came in so fast from Italian retailers that it was hard to keep up with the pace of demand, Demeglio said.
“We had more requests for pieces than our ability to produce them,” he said.
The pieces have been sold in Europe, the United States and the United Arab Emirates.

The entry price to the public is around 390 euros, ranging through the collection depending on the materials to 6,880 euros for the top-of-the-range ring covered in white diamonds. This ring was loaned to Princess Caroline of Monaco in October 2011.
The company, founded in the 1920s, carries out manufacturing and logistics in Valenza, a celebrated Italian goldsmith and jewellery making centre, and finance and administration in Turin.
The VICENZAORO Winter trade fair runs from January 14-19.
