Marco Bicego “Goa” collection adds new pieces
October 2011 – The Marco Bicego ‘Goa’ collection has been elegantly enriched by a series of new pieces.
Acclaimed by young, sophisticated individuals for its clean, contemporary look and feel, the collection is inspired by the white and calm beaches of Goa, India.
Adding to the line’s necklaces, bracelets and rings, Marco Bicego has introduced a new series of black diamond accents to the stylish pieces, available in stores in the UK from December.
The graceful golden coils are carefully manipulated into shimmering flattened ropes of crisscrossing white, yellow or rose gold.
Delicate, textured elements float within the coils, studded with precious diamonds.
Strands of black diamonds add glamour and intrigue to the pieces.
Known for their high value and dark but striking appearance the pieces are enhanced by the introduction of these stones to the collection.
Masterfully hand-crafted, each vibrant creation adapts perfectly to the sweeping curves of the body, creating a textured band of exquisite elegance and comfort.
Available in Harvey Nichols in London and Birmingham, Marco Bicego’s collections offer a striking mix of contemporary and refined jewellery.
Eminently wearable and with an unmistakable sophistication, the Marco Bicego collections are designed with the contemporary, cosmopolitan woman in mind.
All pieces are made entirely by hand in Italy and boast statement gold and silver jewellery featuring precious stones and pearls with an outstanding quality of workmanship reflected throughout the range.
The family-run business dates back to 1958 when Giuseppe Bicego founded a small artisan shop in the town of Trissino in the Vicenza region of Italy.
Now, more than 40 years later and with son Marco at the helm, the brand has become synonymous with innovation and luxury around the world.
Since heading up the business in 2000, Marco Bicego has won a host of honours, including Town & Country Design Awards in Las Vegas and Retailer’s Choice in JQ’s Design Awards.
He has also been named Italian Designer of the Year at the UK Jewellery Awards.
