LONDON, January 31, 2011 – The highly skilled designers who created inspirational pieces for PureJewels’ Platinum Heritage Collection in 2010 will create new collections using platinum, gold, diamonds and coloured gemstones for launch at London Jewellery Week in June 2011.

“We have decided to increase our relationship with the designers who created the Platinum Heritage Collection 2010 and introduce collections around the themes that they generated last year,” said Jayant Raniga, Brand Manager at PureJewels, a luxury retailer based in London.

“The product will reflect the designer’s personality and desire, and at the same time keep true to the emotional proposition of the Platinum Heritage Collection.”
The Platinum Heritage Collection was brought to life by six jewellery designers and reflected the heritage of the PureJewels brand.

Each beautifully crafted piece in platinum and diamonds reflected the cultural journey that the family-run business had taken from India to England via Kenya.

The six Platinum Heritage Collection 2010 designers are: Kate Thorley, Zoe Youngman, Katie Rowland, Paul Draper, Cindy Dennis Mangan and Anna Loucah.
Raniga said themes from the new collections would include Cindy Dennis Mangan’s Luminous collection, inspired by the idea of adventure, and Anna Loucah’s focus on protectiveness as depicted by the Dancing Lotus.

Each designer will diffuse new collections of at least six pieces, including items for everyday wear, such as studs, pendants and rings, as well as more elaborate pieces that are worn occasionally.
Price points for jewels in the new collections are expected to start from around 300 pounds upwards.
PureJewels will launch the new collections at a special event to be held during London Jewellery Week, which will take place from 6-12 June, 2011, to showcase the leading talents of the British jewellery industry.
