The Summit is seen as a vital opportunity for individuals and teams from across the jewellery sector to re-engage with their peers, discover new business opportunities, and find reasons for optimism after a challenging 18-months.
NAJ President, David Doyle, says: “Myself and NAJ Chairman Gary Wroe are looking forward to welcoming retailers, valuers, suppliers, wholesalers and designer brands to the very first NAJ Summit 2021. We are in a strong position to reconnect the trade at this pivotal time of year before the Christmas sales period and we have organised more than 50 expert speakers to share their guidance across successful valuations, marketing, social media, staff retention, hallmarking, laboratory-grown diamond identification… and so much more.
“Taking part in the NAJ Summit is about reaffirming your commitment to excellence in jewellery retail and setting your business on a fresh course for success, whether you attend for one, two or all three days.”
The NAJ Summit brings many of the NAJ’s most successful events under one roof for the first time, including the Institute of Registered Valuers’ Conference, hosted across all three days, and the NAJ JET Business Network’s Retail Jewellers’ Congress, which takes place on Monday, September 13 only. Across all three days of the Summit there will be speakers, round tables, opportunities for private meetings and the Suppliers’ Showcase, featuring the likes of Hockley Mint, Ntinga, CW Sellors, Clarity Jewellery, Cadfolio, Fei Liu, GVUK Design, Code by Edge, Mireya, Lucy Quatermaine, Goodman Bros., Ruppenthal, LBJ Jewellery, Angel Whisperer, TI SENTO – Milano and Headline Sponsor, Continental UK.
There will also be opportunities for students, retail sales professionals and those new to the trade to learn more and make connections that will enhance their future careers.
NAJ Chairman, Gary Wroe, adds: “As there are special ticket offers in place for teams, I would like to see not only retail business leaders, but their store managers and marketing/sales team members in attendance. In fact, big portions of the Better Business schedule, hosted by the NAJ team, will be relevant to all three groups and will provide ideas that can bolster all facets of business from the top down.
“Due to COVID-19 and Brexit, we do not have the luxury as jewellery business managers and owners to rest on our laurels. Now is the time for getting back out into the trade, reconnecting with our colleagues and finding solutions to shared problems. I hope you will join me and say hello to the businesses who will be exhibiting in the Suppliers Showcase.”
