Danish jewellery brand Sif Jakobs presents new website
January 2016 – Danish jewellery brand Sif Jakobs Jewellery has unveiled a new-look website, showcasing the brand’s cool edginess with clean, minimal presentation and a simple colour palette.
With its minimal silver jewellery inspired by the brand’s Scandinavia heritage, Sif Jakobs Jewellery’s new site is a clear visual extension of the Sif Jakobs brand identity.
With clean styling, the use of a black, white and grey palette and new fonts, the site offers coolness and edginess in line with founder and designer Sif Jakobs’ personal style.
The site also features a new ‘face’ of the Sif Jakobs Jewellery brand, Julie Rode. Chosen to represent the Sif Jakobs woman, Rode exudes a clean, confident look in the brand’s
new SS16 campaign. Wearing tailored white clothing, Rode wears pieces from across Sif Jakobs’ collections, showcasing the trend for layered bangles and necklaces and multiple, mismatched earrings.
Speaking of the new website and introduction of Julie Rode modelling Sif Jakobs Jewellery, founder and designer Sif Jakobs said: “I thought it would be a difficult task to put a face on the Sif Jakobs brand, as we have never done this before.
Finding the right face to carry the task of portraying the Sif Jakobs brand DNA and also fit into our clean minimalistic look, was very important to me. When I found stunning Julie Rode, I was certain that she was perfect for the task. She exudes confidence and I love her elegant and contemporary look. Her clean Scandinavian look reflects her Nordic root, fitting perfectly with the SJJ brand.”
The new site also features a new blog entitled SJ Now, which showcases what’s happening globally with the Sif Jakobs brand, allowing fans to follow the brand as it continues to grow. The brand has also added an improved online press lounge for media to access high-res images and RRPs for its collections.
