By David Brough
PARIS, October 2019 – Sardinian actress Caterina Murino, well-known to international movie-goers as a Bond girl, is now making a name for herself as a designer of sustainable fine filigree jewellery handmade in her island homeland.
Caterina, who appeared in the 2006 movie Casino Royale opposite Daniel Craig, has long been passionate about jewellery and gemstones and was the ambassador a few years ago at the CARAT+ diamond trade fair in Antwerp.
More recently, while continuing a busy acting and modelling career centred in France and Italy, she has built up a flourishing business designing fine filigree jewellery using Sardinian artisanal skills and selling directly to collectors.
