Garrard launches Twenty Four collection at Baselworld
BASEL, Switzerland, March 17, 2016 – Garrard has launched the Twenty Four collection at Baselworld, inspired by a famous diamond tiara.
The Twenty Four collection, named after Garrard’s prestigious address at 24 Albemarle Street in Mayfair, London, has given a contemporary twist to the “diamond and dot” detailing of the iconic Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara, which was originally created by Garrard in 1893 for Queen Mary and was later presented to Princess Elizabeth, the future British queen, on her wedding day in 1947.
The Twenty Four is a very contemporary collection that allows the wearer to build a look she wants by stacking and layering the pieces.
Garrard prides itself on its royal legacy and its rich heritage of luxury British craftsmanship, and continues to design iconic collections and spectacular high jewellery suites that reflect its heritage.
Garrard is also introducing a refreshed bridal selection, the highlight of which is the signature 1735 Cluster ring, inspired by the Garrard engagement ring worn by the Duchess of Cambridge.
The bridal selection, which draws on the early years of Garrard, features a range of coloured gemstones, including sapphires, emeralds and rubies, in six different styles.
