LONDON – The London Diamond Bourse (LDB) recently partnered with De Beers Group to host an exclusive event that brought a spotlight on diamonds to London.
The event gathered more than 150 figures from London’s prestigious brands to highlight De Beers’ role in the diamond supply chain, sourcing practices, and consumer experiences.
De Beers’ Spotlight on Diamonds
A key feature of the event was the “Spotlight on Diamonds” which featured a series of initiatives, including presentations and reports designed to showcase the beauty, value, and significance of diamonds, as well as highlighting the diamond industry’s trends, innovations, and insights into the market.
London Diamond Bourse President David Troostwyk introduced the speakers from the Executive team at De Beers, delegates from the Embassies of the Republics of Angola, Botswana, Sierra Leone and South Africa, and the managing director of the Boston Consulting Group.
The event garnered enthusiastic feedback from attendees, including West End brands, UK multiple and independent retailers, buying groups, industry associations, and members of the London Diamond Bourse and Hatton Garden community.
The collaboration between the London Diamond Bourse and De Beers Group demonstrated a shared vision of promoting the diamond industry’s legacy while ensuring its future growth through innovation and responsibility.
