The 23.24-carat Golconda Blue diamond has been withdrawn from Christie’s Magnificent Jewels sale in Geneva on May 14, 2025.
According to a Christie’s spokesperson, the owners have made a decision to pursue a sale of the diamond to a family member.
If it went to auction, The Golconda Blue would have been the largest fancy vivid blue diamond ever to be offered at a public sale. The diamond had an estimate of USD $35-50 million.
