Crafters, including SRK and Hari Krishna Exports, will run offices at the SDB in order to boost sales.

The SDB will also be a hub for trade in rough diamonds.

In Surat, SRK uses state-of-the-art technologies, such as laser sawing and water jet cutting, as well as highly skilled craftsmanship to craft natural diamonds, and is taking steps to achieve greater sustainability in the workplace.
