DMCC, GJEPC India launch Dubai Global Gem & Jewellery Fair
Dubai, UAE, March 20, 2014 – DMCC, Dubai’s and the region’s global gateway for commodity trade and enterprise, and the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) India, have officially opened the Global Gem & Jewellery Fair (GGJF) hosted in Dubai for the first time at Atlantis, The Palm, from 20-22 March, 2014.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony held on March 20 with media and industry participants in attendance, Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman, DMCC said: “We have enabled Dubai to establish itself as the global gateway for commodities trade by building the infrastructure required for industry participants to trade with confidence much like what we will see unfold here at the inaugural Dubai Global Gem & Jewellery Fair (GGJF). We look forward to hosting buyers and sellers from all across the globe as well as showcasing the finest in diamonds, jewellery and gemstones in collaboration with the GJEPC.”
