He will also be responsible for ensuring that the highest levels of customer service are maintained for delivery and quality.
Whilst Reed has no previous experience in the jewellery sector, he is no stranger to the role he takes on having worked previously in similar posts for a number of British manufacturing businesses making everything from fuel systems for aircraft to mirrors and  most recently underwater robots (ROV’s).
He said: “Making robots was an interesting challenge but I was keen to try a new sector with a much shorter lead time environment.  I had very good first impressions of Domino when I came for an interview and I have not been disappointed.  It’s great to be working with a committed and genuine team who are making me feel at home immediately.”
Mark Thomas, operations director at Domino, welcomes Reed’s appointment.  “I have no doubt that Jeffrey will be a real asset to the company. Having worked previously in precision engineering businesses he understands completely the need for rigorous quality control and will bring an eagle eye to bear on operations throughout the production process which can only be good news for our stockists.”
When he is not at work, Reed enjoys cycling, fell walking and travel.  He has an adventurous streak and takes part in paragliding and parachuting.
