Domino presents European Capsule Collection at Baselworld

BIRMINGHAM, England, March 10, 2016 – At Baselworld (Hall 2.1 Stand K91), Domino will showcase its ‘European Capsule Collection’ of diamond rings, all of which are created and crafted at its manufacturing facility in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.

The rings, the brand’s best-sellers in Europe, which are available in yellow, white or rose 18ct gold and in platinum, can be supplied set or unset depending on a customer’s preference.  Domino can also offer an expert setting-service using its customers’ own stones.
“Six years of trading in Europe have demonstrated to us that our EU customers are open to a greater mix of stone-shapes than their British counterparts and this Collection includes a number of designs featuring fancy-shaped diamonds including princess, marquise and oval stones,” said sales and marketing director, Andrew Sollitt.
“Our EU customers also seem to favour slightly lower settings than their UK counterparts and are more open to six-claw settings. These trends are reflected in this collection.”

All the rings in The European Capsule Collection are taken from Domino’s wider Diamond Ring Mount range which features over 100 different designs including a number of eternity- and cluster-ring designs, some of which feature rub-over settings designed to appeal to a younger, fashion-conscious audience.
The collection is underpinned by Domino’s ‘Created & Crafted’ marketing initiative which stresses not only the business’s UK manufacturing capabilities but also its longevity, its family values, its commitment to ethical trading and its willingness to invest in its plant and its people.

Other ranges which Domino will be exhibiting at Basel are its much expanded ‘Wedding Ring’ collection which includes a range of exciting new decorative finishes for 2016 and its ‘Starla Collection’ of rings and pendants.  The latter features many small, illusion-set diamonds to create the appearance of one large stone and offers tremendous value for money.
“We are excited to be returning to Basel and feel sure that both our European customers and the many British retailers who visit us at the show, will find plenty of exciting new ideas at Domino,” Sollitt said.
