Domino to launch wedding band collection at The Jewellery Show

BIRMINGHAM, England, January 12, 2013 – Wedding bands will be the big story from Domino at The Jewellery Show, 2013.

Created by its in-house, award winning design team, Domino will be launching over 40 new and exciting designs at the Birmingham event (Hall 17, Stand P44-Q45).
The range boasts popular classic styles along with a beautiful range of diamond set bands, eternities, shaped weds and men’s signets.

With a wide choice of profiles, in a variety of widths and weights, Domino now offers its core wedding bands in a choice of light, medium and heavyweight profiles.
Also new to its classic range of profiles is a stunning new collection of bi-colour wedding bands.
Offering a unique twist to the traditional plain profile, these bands are available in 18ct white with a subtle layer of 18ct yellow or rose gold inside the band.
The diamond set range also offers the consumer more choice – with the option of 100%, 60% or 40% diamond set bands available across all styles within the category.
The diamond set range also sees the introduction of a new guaranteed carat weight offering of rings, with carat weights ranging from 0.15ct to 1.0ct in a choice of round or princess cut stones.
In line with current fashion trends, a beautiful ‘Vintage’ collection of wedding rings is brand new to the range for 2013.
Featuring a delicate mill-grain edge and beaded design, these feminine, pretty rings are available in a choice of alloys.
To provide more choice for men, there is also the addition of a contemporary gem-set band.  Taking a classic gents’ band, the edge is set with a choice of diamonds or black sapphires.
Customers can also opt to add a personal finishing touch to a selection of profiles.  These options have been extended too and there are now 20 stylish finishing touches to choose from, including grooves, patterns and textures.
A wide variety of alloys are also on offer, from platinum, 18ct white and yellow gold, rose gold, 9ct gold and palladium, and the element of choice has now been extended even further to include a new bespoke wedding ring service.
Using the latest technology, Domino is able to provide a customer with a truly bespoke wedding band. By scanning the engagement ring, a new render of the proposed wedding ring can be created and the actual ring can be manufactured to the customer’s exact requirements within approximately four weeks.
“This expansion of our core wedding ring collection and the very many different options available in terms of alloys, weights, patterns and diamond content, opens up a huge choice to our stockists and to the end consumer,” said Andrew Sollitt, Domino’s sales and marketing director.
“We are extremely optimistic that the high levels of personalisation the range offers and the fabulous point-of-sale and marketing materials we can provide to support it, should make it a popular choice with retailers and bridal couples alike.”
