MUNICH – The Munich Show and Gemworld Munich (October 23-26, 2025) presented an extraordinary variety of rare mineral crystal formations and coloured gemstones, appealing to collectors, curators, brands and retailers.
The event, which saw a high attendance, attracted collectors and retail buyers seeking some of the rarest natural mineral crystal formations, as well as professional buyers of exquisite polished coloured gemstones and gemstone-set jewellery, and jewellery designers presenting their latest creations.
The Munich Show featured specially curated exhibitions and a comprehensive programme of educational talks conducted by experts in their fields, spanning gemstones to minerals, fossils and meteorites.
Coloured gemstone exhibitors at Gemworld Munich spoke of a constructive market despite complications from tariffs, with tight supplies at the high end for untreated goods, and exceptionally rare stones seeing robust demand.
Among the mix of suppliers, established names such as Nivoda, who are based in London, and Claudia Hamann exhibited at Gemworld Munich, showcasing their offer.
Nivoda presented their state-of-the-art software system, which enables retailers to order tailored requirements of coloured gemstones and diamonds, with plans to offer jewellery from 2026.
The Munich Show is staged annually in the autumn near Messestadt Ost U-Bahn station, at the Eastern gate of the Munich trade fair complex, comprising two events that are adjacent to each other, so that visitors can walk easily from one to the other, with coffee shops and restaurants interspersed in the exhibition areas.
Mineralientage Muenchen presented a vast assortment of minerals and crystals, aimed at retail shops and collectors, and featuring specially curated exhibitions.
Products range from a wide selection of Brazilian amethyst and tourmalines to European minerals, and rare mineral and crystal formations, fossils and meteorites from around the world.
For jewellery aficionados, it is a pleasure and an education to see the minerals from which gemstone-set jewellery is made.
The Munich Show is an opportunity for anyone in the trade or public to hunt for minerals, crystals, gemstones and jewellery to restock their collections.
