Exquisite artist jewellery on show at PAD London
LONDON, October 2014 – Exquisite artist jewellery was on show at the PAD London art and design fair this month.
An established fixture on the London art and design calendar, PAD, staged in a pavilion on Berkeley Square in the heart of the chic Mayfair district, gathers design houses and galleries, mainly from Europe, reaching out to the international ultra-rich who are looking to furnish their homes and yachts, and to buy exceptional jewels.
London-based Italian Elisabetta Cipriani hosted a popular stand showcasing contemporary art jewellery, including a selection of onyx and white diamond pieces by Italy’s Carla Accardi, dated 2004.
Other standout pieces at Elisabetta’s booth included fossil jewels with 22-carat gold by Rebecca Horn.
Exhibitor Karry Berreby featured a selection of artist jewels dating largely from the 1970s, and the Louisa Guinness Gallery presented nature-inspired jewels by Claude Lalanne.
PAD London ran until October 19, 2014.
