F. Hinds has shown its confidence in the High Street as it has relocated its Shrewsbury store to a new, bigger unit in the town centre. Their Pride Hill Shopping Centre shop originally opened in 1988 and they have now moved to the Darwin Centre in time for the easing of lockdown measures on April 12th.
The new shop incorporates all features of the updated F. Hinds store design and has far larger displays than the old unit. This will enable the jeweller to show increased ranges across all categories of diamonds, jewellery, watches and gifts.
As all the experienced staff team are transferring to the new store, F Hinds will continue to offer the first-class customer service that they are known for.
Andrew Hinds, director and Diamond Buyer at F. Hinds said, “We’ve been a family business since we started in 1856 and are honoured to have been part of Shrewsbury’s retail scene for over 30 years.
“Moving to the Darwin Centre starts a new chapter and we can’t wait to bring our bigger, brighter and better store to Shrewsbury despite the challenging times we all find ourselves in.
“We want our customers to be able to shop with us any way they choose and the ever-increasing number of brands we have as partners appreciate the visibility a strong high street presence gives them.
“So even though future retail will be different, we’ll continue to look for opportunities where the long-term cost structure is viable, as we believe physical retail will continue to form a vital part of the multichannel mix.”
