Fashionistas and media celebrate Portuguese jewellery brands
LISBON, October 2016 – Specially invited guests from the worlds of jewellery, fashion and media rubbed shoulders at a rare exhibition of Portuguese jewellery, staged at the Electricity Museum in Lisbon on October 27.
Filigree gold jewellery brand Eleuterio, which recently exhibited at the IJL trade fair in London, was among six Portuguese brands showcasing their latest pieces at the cocktail event, supported by Portugal’s jewellery trade association and promoted by actress and model Milla Jovovich.
Guests included UK, Italian and Portuguese media, as well as leading lights from Portugal’s fashion and retail jewellery communities, and regular customers of the brands.
Eleuterio, which traces its roots as a filigree gold jewellery manufacturer in northern Portugal to the 1920s, showcased precious pieces from its Blossom collection.
Eleuterio jewels are created with painstaking precision using traditional artisanal hand crafting techniques practiced over generations in the Minho region of Portugal.
