Digital coloured gemstone trading platform Gembridge has signed a groundbreaking agreement with Chinastone to exclusively deliver digital sales of the Bangkok-based manufacturer’s high-precision, machine-cut natural gemstones, which is expected to boost e-commerce to the global small and medium enterprise (SME) market.
Chinastone is a leading global manufacturer of high-precision cut natural gemstones. Its clients include the world’s most admired luxury jewellery and watch brands, independent line jewellers and watch manufacturers. They rely on Chinastone’s comprehensive range of melee-sized calibrated natural coloured gemstones and Chinastone’s real time availability of over 20 million stones.
Gembridge will be sole manager of Chinastone’s digital marketing and sales channel, focused on the global SME market, which currently accounts for a significant portion of Chinastone’s US $59.2 million annual turnover.

Chinastone has requested that their unique colour-coded system is embedded into each listing for easy re-ordering. A Chinastone Colour Sample Set will also be available for viewing at every Gembridge hub worldwide.”
Gembridge will earn commission for Chinastone sales on its platform.

Gembridge will be responsible for the maintenance and updating of the Shopfront including the listing of Chinastone’s calibrated stones, which will be available for sale, secure viewing and consignment.
Gembridge’s end-to-end e-commerce solution manages acquisition, relationship management, inventory, transactions, invoicing and collection, via its global payment gateway, through to fulfilment including verification, insurance and secure shipment. Gembridge will also offer its imaging system TRUE NATURE™ and data analytics.
