LONDON – Turnout was high at Sotheby’s royal and aristocratic tiaras exhibition in London as the Platinum Jubilee celebrations got under way.
Visitors from around the world milled around more than 40 tiaras at Sotheby’s New Bond Street headquarters on June 2, 2022, as celebrations marking Queen Elizabeth’s 70-year reign kicked off.
Highlights include the Spencer tiara worn by Princess Diana on her wedding day in 1981, a Garrard piece crafted in the 1930s.

Another standout was Queen Victoria’s emerald and diamond tiara, designed by Prince Albert, and created by Joseph Kitching in 1845.
The exhibition runs until June 15, 2022.
