Birmingham Jewellery Quarter-based manufacturer and casting specialist, Hockley Mint, has announced its intentions to stay open throughout the four-week national lockdown, due to commence on 5th November 2020.
With the safety of staff paramount, the business will continue to operate in a socially distanced way and will adapt its practices to support retailers, whether through online sales or by posting finished items direct to consumers or business owners at their home address.
Customers who wish to change the delivery address of their orders can do so simply by ringing the Hockley Mint offices.
The business’s trade counter will also remain open, with stringent rules in place including the use of face masks and hand sanitizer. Limited amounts of customers will be allowed into the showroom at any one time.
“This is an unprecedented time for bricks-and-mortar retailers and our priority over the next four weeks will be assisting our retail partners in whatever way we can. Many of our customers will transition completely online and begin to complete the bespoke process in a digital setting. We can aid this process by sending finished items directly to the end consumer or to retailers at their home addresses. Ensuring a steady flow of business for the entire jewellery sector, despite the current challenges, will be a team effort and will require all of us to play our parts. Here at Hockley Mint, we are ready to do our bit.” Gary Wroe, Managing Director, Hockley Mint
