H&T has come a long way from humble beginnings in 1897 when Mr Harvey and Mr Thompson first registered H&T Pawnbrokers Ltd. and opened 12 stores in London over the following few years.
H&T today is a UK-wide, FCA regulated business with over 260 high street locations throughout England, Scotland and Wales, trusted by over 100,000 new customers each year and growing.

It all began with pawnbroking and to this day it continues to be the core service offered in all stores, now accompanied by a host of others like travel money, gold purchase and cheque cashing. The retail operation has also expanded significantly across all stores (as well as online) offering excellent value new and pre-owned jewellery & Swiss watches.
