Filomena Sannino, Exhibition Director, Milano Fashion&Jewels
Filomena, what variety of goods will be on offer at Milano Fashion&Jewels in February? What type of visitors is the show looking to attract?
MFJ is Italy’s leading fashion trade event held in one of the main European exhibition centres, Fiera Milano. We bring together the most important operators in the sector twice a year to show the best collections of fashion accessories, jewellery and apparel and discover the latest trends. In our programmes, there will be talks together with exciting fashion shows and the ELLE Italia Masterclass.
MFJ provides a global platform for brands to meet with buyers that matter the most to their business and connect. We aim to become an inspiring event for the fashion system, providing the latest trends insights with a specific focus on sustainability and offering interesting business opportunities.
MFJ attracts buyers and retailers from around the world, with a specific focus on the domestic and European markets and our exhibitors will meet independent stores, department stores, online retailers, boutiques and multi-store retailers.

Will there be some brand new exhibitors in February?
We are very excited to welcome back a host of returning brands from around the world this season, particularly from Spain and Greece.
There will be new exhibitors in the fashion section (especially in the apparel segment) with artisanal and handmade offers and in the contemporary jewels area with jewellery design offers characterized by design and research of alternative materials.
New brands, and returning brands but also many confirmed participations by our longstanding brands. It’s not a stereotype if it’s always true: Together we are stronger! More brands will bring more visitors to our event!”
Will Milano Fashion&Jewels be a showcase for jewellery design trends? How will the show communicate upcoming trends?
Certainly. Innovative creation, anticipation and trends in general are the main pillars of our event. Milano Fashion&Jewels again focuses on the future of creativity with the area “Design Directions”.
The multimedia space, developed in collaboration with Poli.Design, will get to know and investigate the trends and inspirations of the jewellery and fashion accessories of the future with a focus on 2026. Design Directions will show the new horizons of fashion jewellery and accessories, enabling companies to be competitive.
This is possible thanks to the detailed investigation of the 2026 macro-trends identified by Poli.Design, such as the two very recent Mix-up and Senses, which will be presented during the February edition.
The area is designed not only to be a highly immersive experience, but above all as an incubator of ideas with a double purpose: an observatory where visitors can explore in detail all the subtleties of creativity, and an exclusive showcase for exhibitors who can thus understand the strategic keys of the fashion business to come according to the consumer’s needs.
What makes Milano Fashion&Jewels a top priority event for international buyers?

MFJ will communicate craft, quality, tailoring, elegance, creativity, Italian style, and international trends. Artisanal manufacturing, expertise and creativity are the three main ingredients of MFJ.
What are the unique and special features of the upcoming show?
We have built an exclusive programme that we hope will reach the maximum number of operators.
Our main features are the section Visionaries, an area designed as a vessel for luxury, ideas, insights, and reflections. This section spotlights more than 80 of the most original jewellery designs in terms of shape, materials and colours realized by pioneering designers from all over Europe.
From the upcoming edition, we’ll add two important new features aiming to boost the fair’s commercial impact and communication capacity: a “permanent desk” dedicated to sustainability managed by CNA Federmoda, which will be activated for the training of all visiting operators and the presence of a special section dedicated to beauty accessories.
What are a few highlights of the seminar programme?
A rich offering of meetings and discussions: Technology, hyper-connectivity, and sustainability are our highlights of the seminar programme.
What opportunities will the show offer for networking?
Numerous meetings and discussions are scheduled to light up the February edition, together with exciting fashion shows and the eagerly awaited ELLE Italia Masterclass.
We’ll talk about Tik Tok as a powerful marketing channel, but also about Creator Economy and UGC Content to understand how brands can take advantage of this new era to improve consumer engagement and trust.
There will also be meetings entirely dedicated to Visual Social Merchandising, which aim to provide insights into how to take the customer from the virtual space to the physical shop, and the secrets to developing one’s business by integrating communications, sales and economic management of the company.
Trends, fashion and inspiration continue to be the fulcrum of Milano Fashion&Jewels which, again for this edition, intends to be the most exclusive showcase for discovering the Fashion Trends with the special Masterclass by ELLE Italia and the fashion shows that will animate the catwalk of the event with the precious collaboration of ClassTvModa.
What is the significance of the timing of the show early in the New Year? Is this the ideal moment for retailers and wholesalers to restock after the festive season?
Mid-February is ideal for new shopping campaigns and to restock after the festive season and promotional campaigns and sales.
Starting from the next edition, the event will be organised in the same days of the Milano Fashion Week, thus confirming the increasingly important role of Milano Fashion&Jewels within the fashion system.
What tips can you offer visitors to organise their accommodation and getting to and from the show?

The programme is supported by a successful matching platform with tailor-made B2B meetings for all players willing to explore the new trends in preview and schedule appointments to get in touch directly before and during the exhibition.
