What variety of products will be offered at the show? What is the importance of “Made in Italy”?

Oroarezzo, running from May 11 to 14, 2024, will showcase premier Made in Italy gold, silver, and jewelry manufacturing.

Now in its 43rd edition, the event highlights Italy’s rich tradition of jewelry production, featuring wearable designs embodying Italian craftsmanship.

Exhibitors from Arezzo and Vicenza will present a diverse array of semi-finished products, components, and technologies, including gold and silver chains, necklace clasps, and customizable jewelry from Valenza in Piedmont.

Italian jewelry and fashion accessories are globally esteemed for their design, creativity, and quality, making Oroarezzo a prime exhibition of “Made in Italy” excellence. This reputation stems from Italy’s leading production districts.

Why is the May edition of Oroarezzo a “must-attend” event for visiting buyers? What type of buyers are appropriate to attend this event?

It offers a comprehensive platform for sourcing top-notch Made in Italy gold, silver, and jewelry manufacturing. It caters mainly to distributors, wholesalers, chains of retailers, but also designers, and fashion brands seeking quality providers to realize unique creations and white labels. To “shape jewelry ideas”, as the claim of the show says.

In addition a program of technical-scientific seminars, a cash & carry area for seasonal showcase restocking and many networking opportunities in an enchanting Tuscan spot, renowned for arts, culture, culinary and wine tradition.

What will be the special features of the May 2024 edition of Oroarezzo, e.g., seminars, showcases, exhibitions?

Special features of Oroarezzo include technical-scientific workshops covering supply chain topics like surface treatments, responsible sourcing, financial stability, retail management and communication, hosted by various associations, institutions, and companies.

The Premiere contest, now in its 33rd edition and themed “Love and Beauty,” showcases jewelry trends. It is open to exhibiting companies, emerging designers, and students under 30. The “Talents” category, introduced last year, allows young designers to have their creations made by exhibiting manufacturers. We keep the spotlight on young generations also with the “Career Day” dedicated to jewelry students who are invited to attend the show, where they are connected with exhibitors seeking new talents.

Last but not least, the “Precious Fashion” segment addresses the fashion accessory production and processing industry. Bringing together opinion leaders, experts, and fashion brands interested in high-level and innovative finishes, it offers networking opportunities in metal treatments and technologies emphasizing innovation and creativity, areas where Italian machinery companies operating in the gold and jewellery industry excel.

From our side, what we can say is that the Italian jewelry industry has proven to be highly resilient. It has been dealing with fluctuations in gold prices for some time now.
