Isabella Liu wins Gold Awards at AQUAE Venice, EXPO MILAN 2015
November 2015 – Isabella Liu, a London-based Chinese jewellery designer and artist, won two gold awards at the 2015 Milan World Expo China-Italy International Jewellery Design Competition, for best product and best new designer.
Liu’s designs have made a breakthrough in fusing contemporary artistic jewellery with sculpture, and she has become well known as a “designer in the art of mending”.
In her work, Isabella shows that fragility and imperfection can be transformed into greater forms of beauty.
