India Mahon was one of only eight designers selected to be part of the “pop up” of La Maison Couture, a contemporary fine jewellery and lifestyle boutique, which is running at Selfridges London and online from January 23rd to February 26th.
In keeping with La Maison Couture’s commitment to promoting ethical jewellery, responsible practice, and positive impact, all designers taking part needed to meet LMC X SELFRIDGES Project Earth criteria. These criteria include Fair Mined, recycled, and upcycled materials, Fairtrade and responsible jewellery.
“Now, more than ever it is important to support and promote responsible sourcing and production to encourage us all to ‘buy better’ said LMC founder Tania McNab.
India Mahon is an independent jewellery designer and maker, using vibrant coloured ethically sourced gemstones and SMO (Single Mine Origin) 18ct yellow gold.
